Given lender too much power

The client owns four properties and one of them is a commercial property all under Westpac. However, all properties are cross collateralized to one lender. Due to economy downturn due to GFC, the commercial property has not been tenanted and the loan term is expiring, the lender is unwilling to extend the commercial loan term. Upon expiry, the lender immediately exercises their bankruptcy management and confiscate all the property including residential property.
Clients are surprised and stress out, but we are able to raise funds for the client and clear the bad credit records, and save the client from foreclosure.
